At MCC Kids, we love children and believe that teaching them God’s truth from an early age is essential. Our goal is to make learning about God both meaningful and fun through age-appropriate lessons and engaging activities—all in a safe and welcoming environment. We desire to cultivate a growing faith in our growing kids and help them develop their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

our Classrooms
We have seven unique classrooms, each designed just for their age group. In every space, kids can experience God’s love, build friendships, and grow in their understanding of who Jesus is.
birth-kindergarten: The Woodlands
The Woodlands is a place where young children can come and learn stories from the Bible and enjoy small group story time, activities, crafts, and worship. There are 5 separate classrooms in The Woodlands:
1st-3rd grade: FUSION
Fusion is for kids in 1st through 3rd grade. Kids will sit with their parents during worship in the sanctuary and are then dismissed to the Family Life Center Gym for large group Bible teaching, large group activities and games, and small group discussion time.
4TH & 5TH grade: Fusion+
Fusion+ is our pre-teen space created just for kids in 4th and 5th grades. We take a deeper dive into God's word during our large group Bible teaching time and small group discussions. Fusion+ kids sit with their parents in the sanctuary during worship and are then dismissed to the Family Life Center.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
What to Expect
Kids Ministry is available during both the 9:00 and 10:30 services. Follow the signs to enter the church lobby and look for the "First Time Kids Check in" table as you walk through the doors. Here a member of our Welcome Team will walk you through the registration process.
Registration
At the First Time Kids Check in table, we will ask you to provide some basic information about yourself and your children. You can do that in person or online in advance.
For your child's safety, at check in, you will be given name tag for your child along with a parent tag that must be presented in order to pick up your child at the end of the service.
OUR CLASSROOMS
The Woodlands
(Birth to Kindergarten)
A member of our Welcome Team will escort you to the appropriate classrooms for your children. The Woodlands classrooms are divided by age and are located directly adjacent to the sanctuary.
Fusion (Grades 1-3)
Fusion+ (Grades 4-5)
Elementary kids (Grades 1-5) will join you in the sanctuary for the music portion of our worship service. They will then be dismissed to the lobby where Kids Ministry volunteers will walk them over to the gymnasium in the Family Life Center (across the parking lot) for our Fusion and Fusion+ programs. You are welcome to walk with them if you would like!

MCC KIDS 2025-2026
the year of the family
Our theme for this ministry year is “The Year of the Family.” Throughout Scripture it is clear God has tasked parents to be the primary disciple makers of their children. Teaching your own kids to know God more and better, and studying the Bible with them is a great joy! Our role as a church is to help you with this all important task. MCC Kids is excited to introduce:
Monthly Family Challenges - Each month from September through May your family will be encouraged to take part in a challenge. Each one has been designed to help you disciple your kids in every day life, through every day moments and shared activities.

Parent Handbook
Our Parent Handbook provides helpful information that answers questions commonly asked by parents. From what to bring for your toddler to when is the right time for your child to change classrooms, all these details and more can be found in the handbook.

2. Attach your completed PDF to an email and send to: info@mtcalvarychurch.com
To Submit a Paper Copy:
1. Print a blank copy of the form below and fill it out in ink.
2. Paper copies can be submitted to the church office (45 Veterans Drive) or given to the Director of Kids Ministry.
If needed, we would be happy to provide you with a blank, printed copy. Copies are available at the church office or by request in the church lobby on Sunday mornings.
One Time Photo release
This form only needs to be completed one time, but if you choose to update your preferences you can do so at any time by resubmitting the form.

If your child is interested in baptism, we offer a class multiple times a year for them to attend (with a parent) to learn more about baptism.

the intentional father
