Winter and Spring Events 2025

  • Ice Skating- February 9th (Ms/HS)

MCC Students, lace up those skates and join us for a Super Bowl sized edition of ice skating. Whether you're skating for the first or fiftieth time it is sure to be an enjoyable afternoon! We will meet at the church right after the second service (around 11:45 am, heading out as close to 12 as possible)  and then we'll be returning around 3:00 pm. We will have the rink to ourselves! The cost is $15 whether you have skates or not. Pizza will be served for lunch (GF options available). Please RSVP by 2/4 so that we can make sure we have enough drivers. We hope to see you there!

  • All Nighter- March 7th-8th (MS)

Middle School students, you’re invited to join us for an all night event for the ages on Friday night, March 7th. We will be playing a lot of games, eating some food, and having a great time hanging out all night! If you are someone who would prefer to get some sleep during the course of the evening, please make sure to bring a sleeping bag/pillow. We will meet at the ministry center on Friday at 7:00 pm and pick up will be at the ministry center on Saturday morning at 7:30 am. Please RSVP by March 1st so that we can make sure we have enough snacks for everyone. We hope to see you there!

  • Apologetics Conference- March 21st-22nd (HS)

Are the gospels reliable? Is the Bible anti-LGBT? What does the Bible say about living in the real world? High School students, we’d like to invite you to join us for the Reality Apologetics conference hosted by the organization Stand to Reason (Greg Koukl) to hear solid, biblical answers to these questions and others like it. The conference begins on Friday evening, March 21st at Christ First Church in Downingtown and wraps up on Saturday March 22nd. We will meet at the church at 4 pm on Friday afternoon and then will be returning on Saturday evening around 8:30 pm. I’m still working through where we're staying overnight (some of this depends on our numbers), but I should have that information soon. Cost is $49 if you sign up before Jan. 25th, then it’s $59 before March 7th, and $69 up until the day of the conference. We will not stop on the way down for dinner due to the drive/start of the conference, so I would recommend either eating early or packing a dinner. I would bring $20 for dinner on the way back on Saturday. Please RSVP by March 2nd (earlier is cheaper!!) so that we can map everything out. We hope to see you there!!

  • The Amazing Race- April 5th (HS)

Ready, set, go! HS students we’d love for you to partake in an incredible race across Lancaster county on Saturday, April 5th. You will be placed in teams, given a limited budget and then sent off to various locations where you will have to deduce clues and compete in various physical and mental challenges. You will not only be racing against the clock, but you will be racing against other teams. It should be a really fun afternoon! We will meet at the church at 1:30 pm and will be returning by 6 pm. Cost is $10. Please RSVP by March 31st so that we can make sure we have enough drivers. We hope to see you there!

  • MS Spring Retreat- April 25th-27th (MS)

Middle School students, we'd love to have you join us as we get away from it all and spend some quality time together on our Spring retreat!  We will meet at the church at 6:00 pm on Friday (eat beforehand) and will return on Sunday around 12:30 pm.
